The Kentucky Barrels are excited to announce the signing of Geemontae Peck for the 2026 season!
Peck brings strength, versatility, and a proven track record as a disruptive defensive presence to Kentucky’s roster. A standout defender at Davenport University, he started in multiple seasons on the defensive line and earned recognition for his ability to make plays in the backfield. During his time with the Panthers, Peck consistently finished among his team leaders in tackles for loss and sacks, showcasing his ability to pressure the quarterback and impact opposing offenses.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Peck began his college career at Arkansas State University before transferring to Davenport, where he developed into one of the top defensive linemen in his league. His combination of strength, quickness, and high football IQ helped him become a disruptive force on every down.
Peck’s physical style and defensive instincts will be key additions to the Barrels’ front seven as the team prepares for its inaugural 2026 season. His presence up front gives Kentucky a powerful edge in stopping the run and creating pressure in the arena game.
